Sal’s
Deli is one of the best places to eat in Chicago, and I am not just
saying that because it’s
my place. We have good quality Boar’s Head
meats and cheeses, Turano’s fresh baked brea
d and loads of
condiments and toppings to choose from. You can MYO (Make Your Own)
Deli size sandwich with unlimited toppings for no extra charge!
That’s right NO EXTRA!! no more $1.25 per topping restricting you.
Now you’re free to be as creative as you want and we love creativity
so go wild. All our sandwiches are made to order so changes are no
big deal. Oh yea guess what, you guessed it we have food delivery
Chicago.
Chicago beef, this is a big deal, and you know that the best
meat makes the best sandwiches Boar’s Head makes a great Italian
beef full of flavor. Along with my secret sauce, makes this one a
great Chicago Italian beef. Good food in Chicago is not hard to find
but a good
Philly cheesesteak is. Being from Philadelphia I know how
they are supposed to taste. Whether you like Pat’s Steaks in South
Philadelphia or Jim’s Steaks on South Street you will fall in love
with our Philly cheesesteak.
Around the holidays my grandma Yolanda
cooked for you know about 30 family members so you could imagine the
amount of meatballs we rolled had to be in the hundreds. To me at 7
it looked like a thousand. “She always said don’t put too much bread
crumb Salvie, that was her name for me, put some bread and milk it
will make them soft. ” And it did. Still to this day, I can’t get
them quite the same but they are really close. This recipe has been
in our family for 80 years and now I am bringing it to this great
little Chicago deli.
Not everyone will be able to have my grandma’s
homemade meatballs especially if they are vegetarian or gluten
free. But don’t worry Sal’s Deli has plenty of vegetarian and gluten
free options! That right we have several vegetarian options to
include our Veggie Panini (zucchini, portabella mushroom, yellow
squash, onions, spinach and mozzarella (cheese optional) . The SLT
(Seitan, Lettuce, Tomato and vegenaise). Take a look at our menu for
more veggie items to choose from. If you are gluten intolerant Sal’s
is the best deli Chicago, for you. We have two types of gluten free
sandwich bread Vegan seeded and white both made at Chicago’s own
Rose’s Wheat Free Bakery which I found to be the best gluten free
bread around. Use these breads with any of our gluten free Boar’s
Head meat and cheese selections to make your favorite MYO
sandwiches. Our Turkey chili, chicken salad, tuna salad and many
more gluten free items to choose from just ask your deli clerk. They
will be happy to help you.
I know how you love your spicy food
Chicago. So I made you Great Chicago Fire Habanero Hot Sauce© and
our Mild Ghost Chili Shake©. Some of our great homemade condiments
you can enjoy at the deli Chicago. Or you can get one right here on
salsdeli-chicago.com’s on line menu.
I just can’t forget about our deli side salads and soups.
Backyard
potato salad, American pasta salad, Cole slaw, tomato soup, and
great homemade chicken soup. I could go on and on but, that’s enough
for now. Check back for new items added to the specials regularly.
Go ahead click the menu or give us a call if you want to come to
Chicago’s beautiful Lincoln Park and pick up your food Chicago.
Costomer Reviews :
GREAT DELI! Our business has been looking for a great deli for
lunch for quite some time now and we finally found it.
Everything was delicious and we had no problems with our order.
Everything was perfect. Will be returning on a regular basis.

I heart Sal's Deli.
I had my first Italian beef here, and every other one has paled in
comparison. It tastes fresh, the beef tastes delicious, and
nothing's better than a warm, dipped beef sandwich. He also gives
you a dipping cup on the side with more sauce. Yuuuuuum. I've taken
a bunch of friends here, and they've all seemed to enjoy their
experiences as well. The $5 deals are a steal! My friend had the
spaghetti and meatball dinner and it was HUGE, and more than enough
for her to eat. I recommend Sal's highly on the value and the
quality of food alone. It's so nice to see such a small, friendly,
neighborhood deli still exist in a big city overrun by chains. Do
yourself a favor and check Sal's out. - Christa Lei
I love this place! It's one of my favorite spots to grab lunch
in Chicago. I always get the Turkey Cheddar Grinder. One day, I
might switch, but I love it too much right now. The folks behind
the counter are always really nice too. Great spot.
